1. Pitch Black at Noon. 100% Blackout With No Light at the Edges.
Every blackout curtain and blind I tried had the same problem. The middle was dark, but the edges were glowing. That thin line of sun around the window was enough to wake me up.
Guard is different. The fabric sits inside a sealed aluminum frame made for your exact window. Brush strips and weather strips close all 4 sides. There is simply no gap for the light to come in.
